To tell the truth, I put the music away real quick, for the most part. My kids listened to Motley Crew, AD/DC, heavy metal, then in the 80s to the 80s style, Depeche Mode, etc., and now a big variety. I think allowing them the freedom to be angry made them more settled than I probably am now! I am sure this may horrify some people, but it didn't horrify me. The hardest thing for me was drugs/alcohol and bad company, and they outgrew that early. They are just your run of the mill systemites now, with good jobs and incomes. I do like to listen to a wide variety of music myself. The only person that I can stand to hear sing anything religious, is Aaron Neville, because I think he has such a unique and beautiful voice. And that's not all he sings. I think once the family got into mass production stuff with MWM, and onward, the music and choreography were boring and akin to the Mickey Mouse club, only not as professional.
