Yes it left a bad after taste for many. The whole issue was linked to other issues in ways that are not clear to anyone except the accusers. Questions remain unanswered and there is an uneasy peace. The slurs that followed showed that it is more of a cold war than real peace. It was upsetting to see people of authority have the final word and slip in the idea that some people created the problem and made the attacks understandable and justifiable. Nobody likes having gone through all the trouble to answer each post only to be brushed over in some kind of accusation of equal blame in wrongdoing. What I like about this place is "the pattern" is prevented from starting. Thanks for speaking out.
