An excellent post on where the Family's at now

The question was asked, "What's the latest Family weirdness?" and MG answered:

Provisioning, newsletters, supporters, DTD, OTO, ballooning, cd's, cd cards, vids, and video cd's are still F fund raising staples. CD cards have been a big money maker, an ex. is a Christmas card that comes with a Christmas song cd.

Activated subcription selling is very heavily promoted now, because that increases "outside" membership and is this membership is supposed to grow into millions and millions of Activated "Church" F members, who will in turn then give their tithes and offerings and make the F finally financially successful.

There's been a new push for reaching the rich, a whole new GN was devoted this. Does that sound familiar?

About the Activated subscriptions and so called new members: the $15 people pay for a subscription, this money of course does not go to the home, it's to pay for the activated magazines that will be mailed to the subcribers. About this new activated member, a lot of those people who buy the subscriptions only do it to get the F member subsrciption sellers out of their office, or off their doorstep. Most of the others who may have a sincere interest and who may read the Activated mag will not for the life of them desire to join what they would consider to be just another group, or church, or sect.

A few years ago, in Brazil, a brother named Tommy had gotten a lot of outside members inspired, involved, into weekly Bible classes and meetings, and witnessing and charity work. It seems that when Peter realized what Tommy was getting accomplished he figured that the whole F could do the same. That's when the Activated revolution started. Anyway, Tommy and the others in Brazil who have jumped on board are still going strong, and now they use all the Activated mags, and books and the Activated Bible Basics courses, etc. But I think Tommy would have kept his congregation going and growing without the Activated materials. It takes a particular personality to be great pastor in order to have an active, vibrant fellowship or congregation or church to go and grow. How many people in the F have the gifts that Tommy has to accomplish what he's accomplished in Brazil? For example does Peter? --no way!

The world wide Activated church of millions that Peter and Maria have published pages of prophecies about has not materialized and it never will.

All the new weapons of the spirit and all the keys of the kingdom will not put humpty dumpty back together again.

They're not getting so much accomplished because "Dad" is not commissioned by the Lord to speak to them and to lead them from the Spirit world. If the Lord was to really have Berg speak from the beyond it would be words of repentence and of making amends, and nothing else because he has so much to give an account for.
