It happens to be a very common word these days. That's too bad that your mother has to remind you this way. As if we all don't feel bad enough already, we sure don't need mothers to rub it in. I would never do that to my children if they made mistakes. Geeze, at least you are doing something right about it now. she should constantly remind you of that. I guess I should be happy for my relatives, my brothers are always talking about how impressed they are that we could come back with 8 children, return to school, college and get careers. They are very encouraging. My mother was the same and was a dear soul who all my life always had confidence in me in spite of my many mistakes and failures. It's too bad your mom is not like that (at least it sounds like she isn't.)
