There are several problems

#1 - there have been people who have told their stories and named names; however, the names are often bible names and even if they do have the actual legal names, some of these crimes were committed overseas and often the people are nowhere to be found, hidden somewhere in the F. That is one of the biggest and toughest problems.

#2 - The F. is a non-entity - in other words, they have cleverly covered their tracks by always moving around, pretending they are some other group and not connected to the infamous COG/FOL, ala Family Care Foundation. The practice of using different names and never admitting to being connected to the F. works in their favor. Who knows where their founders/leaders are? Where is their head office? You tell me that, then we'll have something to go on. If we try and pinpoint their office as Family Care Foundation, as an example, we have exmembers encouraging them to sue us.

#3 - The exmember community is so disoriented and afraid to tackle the big bad beast that they are more often at each other's throats then the real perpetrators.

Have you been reading about exJW's and the pressure they have been putting on that organization? These people are united, they have a common goal, in spite of their myriad beliefs they may have taken up since exiting that group. Insted of sitting around and arguing as to how much forgiveness one should be shown or what is Christian or what is not, they are attacking the abuses that the JWs have been responsible for and have fostered. The old adage - I may not know where it's at, but I sure know where it ain't - should be the motto. We know what is wrong with the F., we know what abuses have taken place, we know they are wrong. We should go from there and have a united front on those issues.
