A letter writing campaign is the most effective. It's true, just one letter isn't enough.
There was a 60 minutes show once that had a bunch of ex F. kids on that had been abused in the F. It was incredible. I didn't even know about it and just happened to turn on the TV then. That's when it hit me - these kids have no voice, no one to stick up for them. Most of their parents are either in the F. or too messed up themselves to really help them. We need to be their voice.
