Reading all these back and forth messages, two big assumptions have been mentioned. One, that the fam. owns the copyright of some material published in exfamily.org. Two, that some how just because of your word, the rest of the world needs to believe that the origin of the claim in the form of a letter, is truly an official communication from the fam. to the people at exfamily.org. I think the people at ExFamily.org followed up on the possibility that they were true but it seems that nothing official has taken place. I am sure that as soon as something official takes place, the exfamily community will be informed immediately.

Meanwhile in Dodge City...

I am sorry to say that while those two assumptions may work well for you, they do not within the exfamily community. The reasons are simple and I know others have tried to explain them to you, unsuccessfully. I will not go over all of that now because if you can't see them, well... there is not much we can do, is there?

On the other hand, for your information, let me share with you how most in the overall exmember community see this episode. You may not care about their opinion either but here it is for you benefit should you decide to consider it. Given that you are continually bringing your assumptions as if they were facts, they are not there are several possible scenarios of why that is taking place.

In one scenario, you are unaware of what is going on, and things are just over your head. You have been reassured that these assumptions are true and you are just retransmitting them. You have received these two assumptions and have become par of your belief. That belief is the result of the level of confidence you have in your sources and the amount of faith you assign to their assurances. You believe them and as a result you believe their words, therefore the assumptions became the truth to you.

In another scenario, you are a willing participant and have been recruited to do the transmition into the community of exmembers. You may have doubt in those assumptions but still insist that they are true, and argue and insist on them.

In either scenario, you have become a gopher, a go-in-between, a liasson, between two groups. Are you aware of this? That you are repeating an intimidating message already made public anonymously in an apocryphal letter. People can only guess of your intentions but the reality is, it doesn't matter. Allowing yourself to be drawn into something that you don't understand and, seemingly, taking sides, is really out of character for a person of your caliber and background.

Let's keep this note sweet and end it here.
