If you are refering to the quote by "Observer" - that wasn't a board coordinator nor anyone speaking in a coordinator's capacity.

You know the what guidelines and rules are, and that you aren't breaking them. There is no need to cry "persecution!" or "get WC to ban me then!" everytime you think there are too many people posting in strong disagreement/disapproval. It's uncalled for, trivializes the seriousness of such a move, and I find it offensive. As much as you loathe firing people, a move to ban someone doesn't come at a drop of a hat either, and certainly not just because someone asks me to do so.

I agree, it is frustrating when someone tries to shut you up and insist on the final say... but I believe much of what happens is just misunderstandings thanks to weaknesses in the bulletin board medium of communication. What happened with Acheick just recently for instance was partly due (as she admitted herself) to her reading selectively and not getting the flow of the conversation in the threads correctly.

Also, there is no "posse" on your trail that I know of - just a couple of people here who don't get along with you. I am not "behind" what others decide to post to you, and I certainly don't share some of the opinions of those you have lumped me in with. The responses you get here could have happened on another board, they aren't the result of some role call on my part.

Now let's leave it at that and end it here!!! ;-)
