I can not understand how people could stay in the Family. I know some exers say, well there are some honest people in the Family really trying to be Christians and serve the Lord. I can't understand why they would even want to be associated with the Family, because of the past child abuse, perverted sex acts, etc.
I feel that the people who stay in that group are approving of the atrocities that went on.
Why wouldn't they want to be independent or join a church that would donate to them. How can they stay in a group like that. I can't get it.
Micron's sons turned Fmer, which I think is a postive step toward leaving. The thing is they know about the rape of their sister, victor camp and torture of another sister and attemped suicide. They know how their half brother was molested by an adult in a family home when he was 9 or 10. I just don't understand. I mean the current Family members may say how wrong it was. I feel like there is a sense of approval, when people stay in that group. Kind of like well they think that was the past and it's better now. I don't think so. I really don't think the Family is any better. I really believe history will repeat it self with that group.
