So here's the scenario, you have never done drugs, why? Well Mom and Dad told you not to, and lots of education in school, plus thinking of the dippy characters you know, so out of their tree(who do drugs), puts you off as well.(plus at least two people have died that you have heard about)

Well imagine one night at a party your best friend, brother or cousin comes up and is raving about pot. You decide what the heck, you trust your friend, so you give it a try. Maybe nothing much happens and you wonder what the hype is all about.

Then next time you try it again, you reckon nothing much will happen again then poof! It's magic, you're so laid back, and mellow. It's really great stuff(bad batch before? Inexperience at inhaling?) Anyway, you're cool, and only do it socially, never at home.

But one day while feeling rather mellow listening to nice Jamaican music, your friend wants to go somewhere new, a nice party where rap music or lots of fun head banging is going on. While there your mellow mood isn't quite what you want. So when your friend comes up with this nice stuff(oh yea good ole amphetamines) you think "why not"? Now normally you would never do so, you have heard about all the dangers, but you think look how cool I've been about pot! I'm sure I can handle it.

Well you do, and guess what? It's great. You have never felt this good and this electrified.(why didn't people tell you how good it was?) You are right there with the music and your friends and you go on all night. In fact it takes a few days to come down(hey it's good stuff)

Now you wouldn't think of saying no, why should you deprive yourself of such a great experience? Only the dorky uniformed dead beats mouth off their liturgy about how bad it is for you.

8 months down the line you are hooked.

No it doesn't happen to everyone, and others go for more psychedelic drugs or just a mix, a nice roll and dance is great. Don't forget the nice snug feeling of Herion(where does it stop?)

But where does it lead you?

This is one of the reasons I hate to think of marijuana being legalised. This story is true, I know of young people out there sucked into the fairy tale of life enhancing drugs. It's as bad as joining a cult, it destroys you.

The way I see it drugs are the opiate of the young.(just as it was said that 'religion is the opiate of the masses'.

Just think about it, where are the great truths that the youth are seeking for today? What are they? What is stifling great minds? Why settle for mind altering drugs when reality can be much better and more fun?

Is it just boredom or is it a sinister government plan, while pretending not to want a bunch of doped dummies, it's exactly what they want. Slave labour.

Legalising the stuff will not make it's problems go away.

Legalising prostitution here have not stopped women getting killed and beaten in brothels. It has not stopped crime rate soaring in the areas where it operates.

The same will happen with pot. I don't agree that the Netherlands have had overwhelming success with it. There is to much negative still coming out. How much real positive is coming out about it? Besides the 'hey man I feel so good' it's so cool to seat in a coffee shop and go off my brain."
