Yes, to be specific Sam: Ado said that any abuses were the acts of isolated individuals and that the family would "never" abuse children in any physical or sexual way. If I remember correctly he said words to the effect that "we" love our children in the family and we would never "hurt" them or allow them to be hurt by others.
