I think some of this stuff is surreal and tiring.
If people want to read stuff into what is said or use rhetoric to their own advantage that is their own problem.
Can we have an interested topic?
I propose sexuality, and issues/baggage related to life in the Family. How many people found out who they were after leaving? How many struggled with sexual trauma for years? How many still struggle and how many have found peace?
How many damn sharing but would love to get a break from a tiring marriage or relationship. Some people still would like to "share," but they cannot.
They are too Christian for it or have a family etc. But of course they do get crushes and have desired and emotions, so it is hard and frustrating to deal with them. How do they deal with them?
Some other people, like me, almost always hated 'sharing' (the most antierotic activity I can imagine, when mixed with religious emasculating attitudes and Praise the Lord every few minutes - YUK) and have come to know their sexuality ONLY after leaving the group. How many others feel this way?
I realize it is a sensitive topic, and it may be too difficult to even talk about it using personal names, but it would be more interesting than to fantasize/make up stories about being called a child molester ( I think when it comes to people around here, we know who's who, btw, and there are no child molesters - how ludicrous)
so, erotic fantasies and discussions on sexuality (memories dreams and reflections :) would be more interesting to me than much of this hackneyed stuff. I also realize it is difficult talking about this on a public board. I wish we could instead of having to deal with the umpteenth fundamentalist post about god, persecution and religious rambling.
I am SO OVER that stuff. Give me something real and hot, only for adults, please. :)
