I think Abuser was speaking tongue in cheek - very sarcastically. I was thinking about this, though and I was thinking that actually, Jules post on degrees of suckiness in the F. is actually pretty acurate. I know I got a little offended when it first came out - but in many ways, she's right. There are people who were and are abusers in the F. and there are people who were abused. There are degrees of suckiness.
