Good Advice. The difference is that Mr. Donahue is now doing News reports on a major news channel.(MSNBC News).
This is a entirely different focus from what he has done in the past. It is not talk show hosting. I personally would not appear on TV, but have asked that a certain group be investigated. There are people who are familiar with the media who would go. Those who are not, it can definitely be damaging. But things can be investigated with provided information without anyone going on TV. Plus, any people that do, should someone want to, could be darkened out with voice change in major reports by request, should the show decide they want to do an Expose.
There is always the possibility that the station won't carry the story, too. So there are many factors.
