While I agree that there should not be a distinction made between subgroups as we all got out, there is a fact that a big difference exists between FGA and SGA. I submit that both ways of looking at the issue are valid and have each one their own context of importance. As a group of people we have many similarities and we should understand when to present ourselves as a homogeneous group (which we really are not) and when to look at our differences to see which characteristics are more valuable under which circumstances.

Accepting accountability for what we did or didn't do among ourselves clears up the path to healing but some still reject that notion and even call for some sort of unilateral Christian attitude of forgiveness. They forget that the their own guru taught the meaning of repentance, which they haven't done yet. Sadly, many in the FGA group agree with them in some sort of meek Christian view that longsuffering should oppose justice. This is wrong and there is no healing without justice, acknowledgement and a sincere reach out by the perpetrators.

David Berg, Maria and Peter, as direct responsible parties have not done much to clean their garden other than cosmetic measures designed to satisfy the public eye. Will they ever come around and do more? Perhaps but even if they did, it will be too late but at least they would be doing the right thing.

It's a pitty that doing the right thing is not a priority to them.
