You want to host a radio show? Well, you will have power but hopefully will not use that power to dispel and shut up criticism, regardless of how well you may or may not take criticism.

Using one's power to do all of that is abuse of power. That is what took place in the family.

Human nature is not an excuse to accept abuse. I know you are not accepting it but the argument you use is not complete in that we all normally feel bad about being criticized. The fact is that legally and ethically speaking, not liking and even shunning criticism (a human feature) is different than using power to exercise control and become abuse.
