Funny you should say that because current family members talk about how free they are now and that the leadership does not tell them what to do so much anymore. However, if someone has to tell them that they are free, then they really aren't free because they are depending on someone else to tell them whether they are free or not. Besides, they still have to hear from Maria to get their directions from God. That's still control.
