I know it's not much and it's just an idea, but for those who can or want to, perhaps a program of giving (a lot of us used to tythe alot) could be set up and the money given to specific hurters. Kinda like World Vision does - for x amount of $'s/month you adopt a kid, get a pic and story and a line of communication etc... Maybe some of the 2nd generation kids could qualify and some of the generation exer's could help. The goal is self determination, and an education, therapy, and the money, could all help in bringing that to pass. Let's face it. The Family flunked miserably, even though self determination for the individual was SUPPOSED to be their goal. It think it'd be good to look into what government programs are available for each state and have them listed too. Who knows, maybe there's ten thousand things could get done if they were just simply listed.

Up here, there's welfare and then there are certain programs within the welfare program that'll teach you, and train you, and grant you a certain ammount, pay you even , as you develop your plan to start your own business. There's also unemployment insurance that, after so many working hours you qualify to go to college (the career of your choice), and they pay you to go. I liked the idea of 'becoming a ward of the state' cause it got K's sister the medical and therapy she needed at the time. It's better than being a ward of the group, if you know what I mean. Miriam Williams went to college on some kind of grant while raising a family. Maybe that grant is still up for grabs. There must be a ton of resources available. Maybe a page listing them could be a part of your boards.
