What makes us happy is to know that we are accepted for who we are and that we have something to contribute in our lives. That gives us a sense of fulfillment and that makes us happy. Money may help to fulfill our dreams, but it can't give us happiness. Children growing up need to know that they are accepted for what they are. I remember Berg writing that letter to Techi - the doorknob is too high - and I thought, why then does he make the doorknob so high for us? No matter what we did it wasn't good enough, we didn't do it quite right, or at the right time, or in the right way. And just when we thought we understood what he wanted, he changed his mind and took a different course, the one we just changed from.

BTW - thanks for your encouragement on my writing.
