pity for faithy

I think she deserves our pity, but she is also a grown person who made her own choices in life. I knew her in Japan and was at the HCS during the whole Watchman episode. She wasn't the only one in on the prayer of deliverance for him, there were Josiah, Margie, Mary Mom, my husband as well as a few others, perhaps Solomon, I can't remember. Some of the things my husband has told me about that deliverance truly freaked him out, and my husband has had a lot of experience since before he joined the group with spiritual things, some of his stories are really harrowing from both in and out of the group.

Faithy received a lot of unfair judgement from her dad, as we saw in many letters written about her, I can't remember all the reasons, but one was just for sun-tanning, disobedience, etc. She was also quite spoiled and treated with kid gloves in a lot of instances and allowed to get away with things that the average Family member wasn't. I remember directly asking one of my CROs about this cause it was so confusing and it was explained that because if they came down on her and she left the group or something, it would be very detrimental to Berg's health, so she was actually protected from a lot of correction and receiving fair treatment as the rest of us were.

Anyway, it's just my 2-cents on the subject. She never hurt or maltreated me personally, she never really even recognised me, she was wrapped up in her thing and the top leadership, no real time for an unimportant peon as myself. That admittedly hurt my feelings, but it's a silly thing to be in arms about. I wonder that after Berg died it made it possible for the leadership to finally start treating her as normal. But I think she has been emotionally unbalanced for many many years, and I personally don't see the point in discussing her and her problems. Not unless she can come and defend or answer for herself.
