As of 2 years ago, even in poor countries most F homes had their own internet connection. Come on internet connections aren't that expensive and even though a lot homes live on a hand to mouth existence they aren't that poor.

There's lots of rule in the homes for the internet, and officially the F policy is for each home to set those rules so that no one is tempted to go to sites that aren't edifying. The policy is also to be "two by two" when you're on line if you are under 18 or 16 depending on what the home decides. Of course the internet connection is not going to be in the teen boys room. Probably the home shepherd's room. (So when everyone's in bed he's free to surf the porn sites, hehe.)

But there are lots of possibilities to go on line for free at libraries or NGO's in poor countries, not to mention internet cafes which are not very expensive no matter where you are. But the teens will probably go to forbidden worldly music sites and the like when they're given the chance. Some adults must check out sites such as this one. However, to do so would be an act of rebellion, that person is seriously considering leaving the F.

The Family has so many rules, especially for the young people, they are completely at a loss on how to engender obedience to them much less enforce them. So parents and homes have a "window dressing" style of rule keeping, especially for their teens. It's for show. I remember from 2 years ago where we were 2 homes in the same area and we both had young people in them. Most of the time it was like we mutually turned a blind eye to the things the young people were getting away with. It has also been said that the part of the world our home was in one of the "liberal" zones.

However things move fast especially in cyber world influence and norms. Word could circulate among the youth population of the F to check out the latest on Moving on and scores of F young people would want to go there. Some adults would follow suit and in the process find exmember.org

That's my 2 cts.
