Do you think being born in the late 50's post WW II Germany, that you had a lot of guilt instilled on you? I ask because I have talked to countless German friends who are so tired of the subject, but do open up and vent every now and then and say that they were taught to be sorry for what their parents did to the world. That must be something very heavy to live under, maybe even worse than knowing your parents were slaves. (I may get heat for this un-PC comment, Coordinators, please delete if you think I've crossed the line)
