but in answer to your question, yes I think it's entirely possible for someone to come out of one slimepit and end up in another similar slimepit. In fact it will very likely happen if that person wasn't really fed up when he came out. Like Paul said if we're looking back to the Sodom we came out of, we might find an opportunity to go back to it.
In fact there are people who have come out of the family and then reconstructed something very very similar and continued some of the questionable practices etc. (no names). And a good many others have fallen right into this situation. It's easier than facing the fact that your entire mindset was wrong.
