not my children - all 8 of them - listen to the judge

they do see the mind control involved and that innocent people suffered regardless of whether they were born in or joined. Remember, most of us were at a tender age when we joined, even in our teens and some as young as 15 - I think Rachel was 14.

Have you been following this Ira Einhorn case? He was a guru hippie in the 70s and got young women to follow him. He killed at least one of his girlfriends and then fled overseas just before his trial and got even more young women to put him up. The guy definitely had the manipulative power to get the women to believe him and trust him. Anyway, he finally went to trial and when he was convicted of murder, the judge gave a stinging commentary about his character - here it is: The judge called Einhorn "an intellectual dilettante who preyed on the uninitiated, uninformed, unsuspecting and inexperienced people." I think that description fits most of the young people that Berg targeted in those days, the young teenage hippies who were idealists and definitely inexperienced and uninformed.

The judge pictured Einhorn as a "psuedo-classist" and "someone who buys a book and reads the first and last chapter...and gives the implication he is drowning in insight."

Now doesn't that remind you of our dear little guru Berg? And the whole F. still reeks of this "we are the best in the world" mentality because of him and his dogmas that he layed out for them.

I know of an FGA who left his wife and kids in the F. and then turns around and criticizes exmembers with that mentality saying "they could have left" and blah, blah, blah. Well, most of us couldn't just walk away from our kids or were stupid loyalists who believed in God and were afraid to disobey. It is ironic to me that the honest people with a conscience are the ones who got hurt the most and finally left with their tail tucked between their legs. They put everything into living the life for God that they thought they had signed up for and tried to obey every little law and rule.

This one exmember who is so critical has a wife who is a big leader in the F. and so are her children. People without a conscience - those are the ones who remain. That's how I see it.
