Thanks porceleindoll for your wonderful and very helpful tips.
Just wanted to add a few thoughts. It’s amazing how embarrassing it is to share very personal things over the internet. Anyway here goes. I had acne as a teenager. It went away in my twenties. When I hit age 35 I started getting a blemish now and again on my chest. I still have that problem especially when I take magmesium for sleeping(in Nutra Sleep). Magmesium is a great natual sleep inducer. It also causes my lips to have a burning sensation. When my lips feel healthy the rest of my skin is healthy. One thing I wanted to add since I’ve had sleeping problems since I was 29 years old is this. MSM is great for the skin but can cause insomnia over 500 mg. Also Pantothentic acid (vitamin B5) can cause insomnia as well in doses over 250 mg. A great book I found where the Doctor himself has tried a lot of different substances and warns about certain dosages causing insomnia and my own experience validates it is called “MIND BOOSTERS” by RAY SAHELIAN, MD. It’s also a great book for helping the brain.Other things for the skin are “Retina A micro gel”, Erythromisn(prescribed) and Benzoil peroxide(Clearasil). You can also go to www.healthboards.com and see how poeple deal with all kinds of stuff. On another subject two things that are working well for me for insomnia that are all natural are “Nutra Sleep” which you can get at www.iherb.com and “CALM FORTE” which you can do a search on the Web. I take them both after waking up at night. I first take melatonin before bed then the “CALM FORTE” and NUTRA SLEEP together and then if I wake up again I take an aspirin. Hope that helps someone.
PS. I have ordered Chromium picolenate and I don’t’ want to confuse anyone but here’s some URLS that have a warning about it just in case someone needs to know.
