I can see you don't mince your words Goth and you have some very good points to make. I think some of us have maybe not given a lot of thot to these issues and distinctions, and it's too easy to accept labels. Who leaves the Family?

* A married person, kicked out without their mate & family.

* Father & mother in later 40's early 50's with some kids. Other SGs stay in or are spirited away from them.

* Father & mother with all 8 kids from toddler to teen. Father has few job skills & must take minimum wage while trying to adjust to normal society. Mother is beaten down mentally from years of psychological abuse but wants to be there for her kids, who are rebelling bigtime.

* Mother with 4 kids, each from a different father. Last mate (& father of last kid) stays in group sucking Jesus' penis spiritually and offering no financial support. Mother must shift for herself. Has only an alcoholic mother (no help) to return to in a trailer park.

* SGA with few job skills, who thinks she must either work at MacDonald's or in the sex trade to survive. Gets into substance abuse to bury pain.

* Married SGAs with 2 young kids. Few job skills. She has a grandmother who maybe helps a bit, but not for long.

* Young mother of 5 kids, sent out of the cult in a body bag because she was told to trust God for a severe medical condition.

I think it's obvious there are all kinds of people who leave the cult and most of them have real needs.
