I always enjoyed learning and that maybe the basic component. I did have some credit hours that the university I went to (UNT) accepted. It took lots of hard work but I finished in 2 years with no help, grants, scholarships or anything else. My last semester I was honored with the president's award, which had a little money attached. Graduate school was a whole lot easier because I got into the swing of studying. The Ph.D. took a little longer but I was able to work in all kinds of things that paid well and let me study at the same time.
So it is possible to go back to school and make it, and I am not the only one in this crowd who can attest to this.
