BSP was initials for the main Khrisna guy who had a temple in Los Angeles on Watseka. His name (and I am unsure of the spelling, because this was years ago, and only a visit) was Baktivadante Swami Pravupada or something like that. He was the "Mo" of the Krishnas at that time. I am glad someone from another cult is posting here, because seeing the patterns of the modus operandi of different groups helps me to see Berg as just a garden variety false prophet. No special person other than being especially deviant.
