achiek, you don't find your statement that "THEY" would blame a bounced check on the ac banking system an offensive& silly exaggeration? if you approach anyone," cult zombie" or not, in that attitude, would you be surprised if they fail to weigh your opinion very seriously? there are many real issues about the fam's negative impact to share w/ those still in w/o resorting to that sort of straw man.
your reaction to the disgust of that lady, and the way a fam mem would discount the disgust of exmem's who fail to relate to them as individualsw/ many differing attitudes, and reasons for being in, may be quite different, if you think it thru. in the case of these guys, my impression was their attempt to get this business off the ground was so they could avoid the begging w/ their kids thing. if ind. fammems try to establish economic independence thru legit business, i would veiw that as a positive thing, most likely to lead to further distance from the fam system, (which is why p&m seem to fight ind. initiatives like that,)but, as you say, we all are free to voice our opinions. and maybe i'm just sucker.
