We all did some right and some wrong. As Jules pointed out rhetorically, where are the lines drawn? We all suffered in some way. By being part of the group, we perpetrated and allowed the abuse in some way. Yes, as part of our healing process some of us FGAs are enraged. If I've been mad, a lot of it is at myself, for allowing myself to be fooled. Then again, I know that like you say, we (most) didn't choose to join a cult. We volunteered for something good, we were going to "change the world" "starting with our own lives," we had our thinking faculties removed, our resistance broken down slowly, and a few years later, found ourselves recovering from a cultic experience.

As you say, SGAs do have a whole different perspective. Their recovery generally calls for a different process, and they deal with very different obstacles than FGAs.

Hang in there! I wish you the best! We're all learning and healing.
