ah, I see - they need to know we "love" them. And how would you propose we show that? Do the oopey goopy thing we used to do in the F.? Or what? The thing is, their idea of what love is is totally warped and no matter what is said and done, they will view anyting other than laying down and being a doormat as persecution and being an enemy. I chose not to be a doormat and I chose to speak the truth, for their sakes, for the public's sake, and for my own family. Although I don't like the term, some people call it "tough love" and there is a point to it. We have to do it to our children, in spite of all their screaming and moaning that we're being unfair or we don't understand, we still know what is best for them in the long run.
