Innocent bystanders or followers of deception

Posted by Acheick on December 06, 2002 at 09:24:16

I was thinking about this whole thing with our dear Solomon CR or FR, which we've now come to know him as, and how the idea is that he is somehow apart from the F, and doing things on his own, yet still in the F. What a concept. First of all, I have a hard time rankling my brain to figure that one in. How is one "in" the F., but not really in. Well, I suppose it can be done, I have a step daughter who returned to the F., because life outside of the lazy COG homes was just too hard for her, that whole issue of coming up with money and living your life, was just a huge hurdle that made her run back to the F. even though she's not even a believer in Christ, hates religion, the bible, doesn't like Maria GNs, but the lifstyle works. So, I guess, yeah, you can be in the F. and not really in. However, somehow I don't think that applies to FR. From what I see, he's a dyed in the wool loyalist, like so many others I know. So then I was thinking about the possibility that he could be moving out sort of slowly, like others such as MG, etc. That would be kind of odd though taking a whole F. money making production company and all the F. workers that go along with it. I've not seen that happen yet. And we know these products have the blessings of Maria as a good front and money making venture, I don't care how innocent the product is.

This led me to think about all the different directives in deception we received over the years and the one that came to my mind was the time when Berg told us to tell the world the F. had disbanded. Who remembers that? We actually got our relatives to believe us. It wasn't too long, however, when they realized there was nothing different, only a new name, everything remained the same. Needless to say, they were pretty upset that we had tried to fool them and make them believe our lies. I never felt good about that. So, with that in mind, I can't possibly trust a dyed in the wool F. member telling me he's not a part of the F, or his products aren't, because Maria has probably told him to say that. They are always coming up with new ways of deception and lies to hide who they are and make money. It's all about money. And for Ray to say "so what if Maria gets the tithe," what does that mean? Keep her fat and fed over the backs of the laborers? Do you know that a recent young departee informed me that the homes have to tithe somewhere between 12 and 14 percent of their income? Dang, that's as high as some credit card companies. I don't think that's anything to sneeze at. I also don't think that informing the companies of just who they are dealing with is vindicitive or bitter or vengfull, I just think it's the right thing to do. I think they have a right to know. Saying that to inform the unsuspecting companies or public is an act of vengence just sounds like F. rhetoric to me. That's their blanket excuse to get away with all of their crimes, they make you feel guilty or bad for reporting on them. The truth gets hidden again while we cower in the corner afraid of "hurting" them. Geeze, when will this madness ever end. And yes, there is a distinct difference - there is an "us" and a "them" - last time I looked, I was no longer a tithing, believing in Berg, following F. mantra, reporting member. Maybe there are those in the grey area and don't want to see big differences, but I sure do. What's wrong with seeing the difference, how else should I refer to "them" - must I always use the term Family Member, no pronouns allowed? I just don't get the point. At least not that point. I do believe though that they are having new directives in trying to blend in, sell products the world would like, simple Christian products, they have to come up with something to pay for their fat and lazy lifestyles so they can vacation all summer on the Riviera inbetween their orphanage shows. And I'm not exaggerting either. And then there is the issue of befriending F. members to help them leave. That seems like a noble cause. I do remember though all the years after the RNR that we could have left, we had made friends outside of the F, we were around our relatives, but as soon as the call from Berg came to get back on the wagon, off we went and we had Hell to pay because of it. So, that doesn't always work. As long as they are tied to Berg and/or Maria, or even the lifestyle of the F., dependent and weak people will go back. It really becomes a dependency issue and many other issues as well.
