Wow! How do I articulate this right? this one got to me: "if i know Jesus at all, i'm pretty sure he was chuckling too! and i am quite certain he not only knows you love him, but that he is totally head over heels in love w/ you."

so Jesus falls in love does he? Jesus gets head over heels too? does jesus not love each one of us? is he partial? is he in love with me too, if i'm a very very bad person? is he less fond of me? is his love conditional? Jesus chuckles is fine, with me anyway. But the familiarity-cum-special-corner-to-Jesus is at play here. as in: "if i know Jesus at all, i'm pretty sure". that's right, bring Jesus down to your level and say, as far as you know, Jesus would this and Jesus would that. speak on his behalf. tell everybody you what Jesus would do because you know. and what if he doesn't do like you know? would you be like Mo and start telling him what to do for you. and if he doesn't will you start threatening him and showing your disappointment?

Tigress, i really really don't mean anything against you in saying this. its just that I am tired of airs, be they religious or pious airs.

I didn't think this was for the journeys board, because i'm not interested in religious discussion. this was not said from a religious perspective. It was from an irritation at relgious types.
