That really broke my heart. Thank you so much for writing all that out and being so very honest though I know how hard it is to bring all these things up. You're right, in spite of all that happened in different situations, turning a blind eye is still wrong and we all must share in that responsibility. I think you have brought out many excellent points and I do believe that we older generations need to take the time to walk a moment in your shoes and see just how you feel and how your growing up in a cult has affected you. I can't even imagine what it must be like to have to leave your parents in a closed society that views you in a lesser light for leaving. I can imagine how painful that must be. Thanks, Jules.
