Three of my children were sent off to another home, against my wishes. One was 8 (although he was with his father), another 9 and then 12. I could only see them on visa trips. They weren't even allowed to come and stay with me when their grandmother travelled across the ocean to visit us, they HAD to attend the YES, it was such a big freakin event.
