Further Explaination on My Thoughts

PostR,
After posting a reply a little earlier, I thought I'd post another short explaination of my thinking.
Regarding politics and the Christian, and things which many Christians might find unbliblical, how are we as U.S. citizens supposed to react to them?
For instance, if a person is a Witch or Warlock, should we attempt to take away their religious freedom? The Bible says that these sorts of people should be stoned! So where do we draw the line between our Christian faith and our national citizenship on such issues? I believe the line is drawn, not on a national level (after all, the U.S.A. supports personal freedom) but the line is drawn on a PERSONAL basis (a Christian simply does not do such a thing as conjure up magic. Right?)
So, I as a Christian AND an American should allow certain behaviours in OTHER people, without attempting to curb their rights. But on a personal basis I should not participate in certain things. Also, as a father and a Christian I believe I should teach my children Christian principals, but also teach them tolerance to other people.
To me this is being "balanced" socially and religiously.
