So given over to "pleasing God" and fearful of his wrath. Now that is and was diabolical (Berg's favorite word of anything not like him). However, I will admit that it was when they kept touching my children in some way, such as sending them to teen homes, etc., that crossed the line. Then Gary's idea of putting them all together like a kibbutz, out of parental control - ewww, that made me burn. What's ironic to me is how my exhusband who is a gung-ho F. member to this day has his 10 children practically locked up under house arrest and completely under his control. How did he do that? He was always able to get his way somehow. I see many F. people like that who are so adept at controling situations and people, they make it work their way.
