Those are good words. Yes, there are definite things that are triggers from my past. Like this summer I noticed I nearly bit off some guys head because he treated me like my exhusband would have. I simply don't allow that anymore, but I overreacted and it wasn't good. Then there's empowerment. We definitely did not have any power in the F. and often in our marriages. I never realized how much I was dependent on my spouse and how much he treated me like a second class citizen until I remarried and I was treated with equality and with respect. I just never realized that.
