Here’s the thing

Posted by on January 25, 2003 at 00:25:45

I am obviously busy with my own site and my own projects, and at some point my own life. My motive in posting here was to explain my perspective. I am not responsible for the people who agree or disagree and honestly I don’t really care either way. I have gotten where I have without the help of anyone and I will continue to do what I believe in no matter what anyone else thinks, whether you be family members, exmembers or anyone else.

To come and post on an “FG” site is not easy for me, but I have come here because I would like to open a dialogue. I am sorry if what I have to say is not what you want to hear, but “we speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen”. Consider this: I am not speaking hypothetically. Have you noticed that very few SGs post here or on other sites run by older exmembers? Why do you think that is? (Hint: It’s not the graphics.)

For Goth (see how I specify who it is that I am talking about?) and anyone else who feels that it is so important that we as SGs accept you as equal victims, why don’t you do what I have done and come post on our “turf” and explain your views? If you want to open a dialogue then do so.

Am I angry? Yes. I am tired of getting it from every side. If you have snide insults for me you can shove them, if you think I hold all truth, you can shove that too. I am in the same boat as the rest of the SGs, but I do care about communication, and the only reason I have come here at all is because I think healing begins when we ALL are willing to hear each other and stop demanding that other people accept us or our opinions.

I have said all I have to say here for now I think.
