It's amazing to think how all that fear is simply happening in their minds. If we didn't know better we'd have to say they were either delusional or schizophrenic -- "hearing voices" warning them about about a huge conspiracy out to get them. That kind of behavior would land them in an insane asylum in most countries of the world.
