Boy, aint that the truth. No kidding. It has taken me years to try and forget some things and yet I still remember. I think talking about it and hashing it out in a way helps the perverted thought patterns and twisted dogmas to disintigrate, at least it starts the breaking down of it into little pieces that hopefully will blow away.
