Think about it, look how she was intimidated and even started acting like her abductors. These people know the younger they are the easier it is to manipulate their minds. Someone said she was even at a party and could have stood up and shouted to everyone who she was, but she didn't, she was too intimidated. Why do people like this exist who prey on their own kind?
