Well, it is a good question but I am afraid to say I would tend to say NO. If you read Viktor Frankl, he says that it is OUR effort and OUR work to give MEANING to suffering that makes it bearable. That is the work *I* have done, not Berg of TF for me. I have faith in the universe, yes, :-) but I get the credit for that. A lot of my learning has occurred AFTER leaving...with intense suffering and so much work at rebuilding.

I will never be able to entirely explain why certain things happen in life (death, rape, abandonment, abuse etc) but it is MY quest and labor to give THAT meaning that ultimately SHAPES my identity.
