I think it would be interesting too but like you said, incendiary passions are only a click away. And what if there's someone you strongly identify with in a healing, ex-Family context and then you find yourself on opposite sides of the fence from him/her the day 3,000 Iraqi civilians get killed by not-so-friendly U.S. fire, and Sadam releases his oops-I-still-had-some-anthrax-after-all missles and kills 3,000 U.S. troops?
Maybe it's better to limit our comments about the war and talk about something like sex instead.
