Fair enough. I can agree with that. As far as the past incidents, I can't really comment because I am not well enough aware of the history on it. I hope as you say the world will be a better place because the US will see that those type of finagling in murderous and dictatorial regimes to manipulate them for some sort of greater good is not the answer and only backfires in the long run. I sincerely hope the US changes its foreign policies because of what is happening today. But that remains to be seen. However, the US is NOT the only one that operates in such a manner and it still boggles my mind why the US is always, always singled out. I see the French and English all over Indo-China and working with despots when it suits them. This is not characteristic of the US alone.
