Jew/Palestinian thing - that's not what I meant

I said in an earlier post "My problem is I see through a lot of the rhetoric, and I'm too much of my own thinker. Sometimes it's hard to have simplified opinions when you have both Palestinian and Jewish friends." Not that it had anything to do with this Saddam thing (despite Saddam wanting to make it the thing). It was more a point that my problem is I agree with so many sides of the issues. In this case I have friends fighting there, I have Kurdish friends who want Saddam dead, I have Iraqi friends who are suffering what they see as American agression, I have friends in the UN who are for and against the US led war. I listen to all of them, and they all have a point, and it's not like I'm trying to be the judge of who wins the argument, but I can never accept the extremist rhetoric from any one side of the isssue. My comment about being friends with both Jews/Palestinians had to do with the fact that they are good examples of people who see things very differently, and I can understand both sides, and I can never agree with the extremist views of either side.
