"complain so bitterly?" :-0)

I am not complaining bitterly. I am proud to be an American too, and that is why I am speaking, just like Michael Moore stated on Oscar night.

That reminds me of what leaders used to say in the Family. This is debate, hello?

What does any of this have to do with spending 74 billion dollars to have this kind of war and then more money to rebuild Baghdag...when it was more of this money that helped the guy get consolidated into power anyway...(ah memory spans)...yes, the guy may be a piece of shit...but the way this is all being done...is so over the top...and to feed the 'freedom' line to people - a bit too much, really. People need freedom here, too. And they pay taxes here to this government. I pay taxes, too.

Why the knee jerk reaction to protect the party line at any cost?
People who send the money home and live in poverty here can do so because dollars into pesos or other currencies go a long way.
But dollars for dollars, there are many honorable American every day heroes who cannot live a decent life and have no health insurance on minimum wage (I recommend you read Barbara Ehrenreich's Nickel and Dimed - great book and personal life experience, real data) or elderly people that cannot buy the medications they need...their life and their plight is more important than 'freeing the Irakis' in Irak who for the most part (many) may feel not much different than the people at Waco with the ATF.

So you see the 'complain bitterly' (!) part is just like the 'freedom' line. Propaganda meant to shut somebody up without looking at the facts.
