You're right. The U.S. should boycott all Chinese goods, but why don't they? They have a huge market for cheap goods. They want to pay peanuts for good merchandise & can only do that if there's a country producing those goods at slave labor wages -- cheaper than could be produced in the U.S., Korea or even a 3rd-world country. And of course American middlemen need to turn a profit just for shipping & handling slave-labor goods.
This is not entirely relevant to the present war, but it is a good point.
