Iraqis supporting the U.S. war against Iraq

Why is it that some of the strongest support for the coalition forces invading Iraq comes from Iraqis living abroad? They tell tales of being tortured and family members killed & want Saddam gone even if it's the hated U.S. doing the job.

The Kurds in the north are welcoming the U.S. troops with open arms & I heard Iraqi Americans saying the only reason the Iraqis in the south don't cheer the Americans is because they would be shot if they did so. One Iraqi exile said the only reason the regular citizens were fighting in Basra is because they had Saddam's men holding guns to their heads if they didn't. These were both Sunni and Shihite Muslims giving the interview to Barbara Walters.

Does anyone have reports of Iraqis living abroad who are strongly against the war? It seems like most Iraqis are pro.
