Now that the U.S. has cleared out Sadam's troops from the Shiite city of Karbala & the population is no longer terrified, they are indeed happily greeting & cheering the Americans. In a separate incident, the Iraqui Lawyer who helped free private Lynch said one thing that turned him against Saddam was seeing a woman waving at an American helicopter, then get shot by Saddam's men for doing so. Small wonder more Iraquis don't wve.
Interesting also that the U.S. military has now found caches of mustard gas & sarin, the illegal weapons they said they were looking for.
